| JENNIFER SPELMAN Jennifer Spelman is a freelance editorial and documentary photographer living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jennifer's initial foray into photography came from working at a District Attorney's Office in Colorado photographing and diagramming crime scenes. Tired of working in an office under fluorescent lights and wearing pantyhose, she made a change of career and became an assistant at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, working alongside some of todayʼs preeminent photographers, including Jay Maisel, David Alan Harvey, and Antonin Kratochvil. Since then, Jennifer has been in search of images that whisper loudly and scream softly. Her photographs have appeared in Food & Wine, Local Flavor, Rangefinder, The Sun, and B&W Magazine. In addition to running Spelman Photographic, Jennifer is a passionate educator, instructing with the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops and co-instructing with National Geographic Expeditions. |
