| C. STEPHEN HURST C. Stephen Hurst began as a self-taught painter and evolved into a photographer specializing in Fashion and Documentary imagery. Formally trained in Cinema Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, his work has been internationally exhibited and published. His work is primarily influenced by the artists Otto Dix, Max Beekman, Umberto Buccioni, Jorge Louis Borges, and Arthur Fellig aka 'Weegee'. He currently resides in New York City and teaches fashion based workshops at the International Center of Photography. Previous students include Creative Directors for Grey WorldWide (Latin American Division) and the founding members of Winnow Photo Agency. |
